Every issue of our glossy, colourful A5 sized magazine is hand delivered directly into over
21,000 homes and businesses
in Macclesfield, Tytherington and the surrounding communities of Sutton, Langley, Lyme Green, Hurdsfield, Gawsworth, Whirley, Broken Cross and Henbury. Copies are also left in the Town Hall, Library and Chelford village. And when we say 21,000, that’s just the buildings, not the potential individual readers – we estimate that figure to be around the 50,000 mark in reality!
The purpose of Local People is to serve the communities into which it is distributed and to support the local businesses that operate within or close to these communities by providing an extremely affordable – but at the same time effective and popular - means of getting their details out in front of the people who matter most to them – potential customers. Indeed, our mantra since the outset has always been:

So - this is one powerful little publication, as demonstrated by a distribution that’s increased by over 800% in the last 6 years since we started very modestly as ‘Park Lane People’.
